As part of a grassroots movilization and recruitment program established by an initiative of National Committeewoman Zoraida Fonalledas, the Republican Party of Puerto Rico will be conducting between March and June town hall meetings with the local Republican committees islandwide.
"We think individual people can make a difference. Our Party will be stregthened by political action at the grassroots level. If you agree, consider attending our regional meetings and becoming involved in an effort to get the Republican Party ready for the upcoming status process, and the 2012 presidential elections cycle. A better quality of life for our childrens' and grandchildrens' futures depend on it,"stated Ricardo Aponte, the Executive Director of the Republican Party of Puerto Rico.
The Regional Directors of all the eight regions of the Party (Bayamon-Guaynabo, Arecibo-Manati, Mayaguez-Aguadilla, Ponce-Yauco, Guayama, Humacao-Caguas, Carolina-Fajardo and San Juan regions) will coordinate with the local leadership in all municipalities the meetings.
