On February 19, 2004, Vice President Richard “Dick” Cheney, visited Puerto Rico. His brief visit took was to a fundraising luncheon at the Condado Plaza Hotel, where the Vice President gave a speech focused on the Bush-Cheney administration achievements. He was accompanied by National Committeeman, Luis Fortuño and the Mayor of San Juan, Jorge Santini. Among those attending the luncheon, Dr. Tiody Ferré, Chairmwoman and Zoraida Fonalledas, National Committeewoman, as well as other key members of the Executive Board of the Republican Party of Puerto Rico.
